    Time: 2.00pm / 6.00pm / 7.30pm

Venue: Union Theatre, 204 Union St, Southwark

Sinister, chilling and macabre, Jekyll and Hyde is the ultimate story of good versus evil. Set in London, and based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s Victorian novella, it is the story of Dr Henry Jekyll, a brilliant and yet troubled scientist, and his obsession with the darkest recesses of the human condition.

Morphic Graffiti’s production, staged at the highly renowned Union Theatre, Southwark, promises to uncover the grit and depravity of Stevenson’s vision. The results will be a thrilling and, at times, terrifying ordeal.

Jekyll and Hyde has music by Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn, (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Dracula, The Civil War) with book and lyrics by Academy Award-winning composer/lyricist Leslie Bricusse (Doctor Dolittle, Scrooge, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). The original production ran at Broadway’s Plymouth Theatre for over 1500 performances.

The show features some of the most famous Musical Theatre songs, including This Is The Moment, Someone Like You and In His Eyes and will be performed by a professional cast of 16, with a live band of five musicians

The production opens Wednesday 16th May 2012 until Saturday 16th June 2012. Performances take place Tuesday to Saturday evenings at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 2pm and 6pm. There will be an extra Saturday matinee on 16th June at 3pm.
